These are some of my favorite projects.

Segmentation and defect classification of high-voltage insulators using DNNs

Our results show that U-Net, an effective deep neural network for segmentation, and VGG, used for classification, can reach a high accuracy.

Distribution system reconfiguration using the acyclicity-based spanning tree definition

A graph is a spanning tree if it has n-1 edges, n being the number of vertices, and is acyclic. We conduct a computational study using that definition and exact AC power flow constraints, applying two theoretical results. The results show near real-time feasible solver performance.

A web-based tool for power system analysis

A web-server based on Spring Boot, postresql and a simple JS frontend using leaflet not only stores power system data but also displays computational results like locational marginal prices (LMPs).
